Are you compliant with the Massachusetts Privacy Law?

Massachusetts New Privacy Law, 201 CMR 17.00 went into effect as of March 1st, 2010.  This regulation requires any company or individual which stores personal information on MA residents to properly secure that data or face costly fines. 

What is at risk?
The State of MA will now assess a fine of $5000 for each violation.  For example, a loss of 100 customers personal information would be a fine of $500,000.
