It is surprising to me how few dentists/dental practices are actually using social media to build their practice. Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter allow you to connect with your patient base and even prospect for new ones. Largely, prospective patients are not using the yellow pages, television or radio to find new a new dentist. They are instead using the Internet & social media. Social media represents a unique opportunity to build a practice because it allows you to establish deeper relationships with patients and even connect with new ones.
